The smallest of the gites - The Stables is split level with the main bedroom located on a very attractive mezzanine floor, providing a double, plus a further single bed. The other separate bedroom has bunk beds and is ideal for children. There is also a cot available if required. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas cooker, fridge with a small freezer compartment, a microwave oven, a washing machine, an iron and a good selection of various cooking utensils and crockery. It has a downstairs bathroom, including a shower, wc and wash hand basin. In the lounge area there two settees and comfortable chairs, and a TV that receives English television and radio and a DVD player should you wish to bring your own DVDs. The property is very children friendly with tiled floor throughout for ease of cleaning. We offer two rooms for Bed and Breakfast. They are on the first floor, each with new en-suite facilities. One has a double bed and the other has two singles. We provide all linen and towels, of course. We can also lend a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, if required. All you have to do around here for a cup of tea or coffee, is ask! We invite our guests to join us in our lounge, where we have TV and DVD. We can also provide a wireless Internet connection. There is ample private parking outside. We are open all the year round. We have 2 lovely properties situated around a central courtyard along with the cottage in which we the owners live. Rest Huella farmhouse dates from 1731 and is on 3 floors with 4 good sized bedrooms, sleeping 8 + people. 2 of the bedrooms have vanity units, one with a walk in shower. There is a comfortable lounge with french windows giving views of the valley, there is an electric mock effect woodburner in the old fireplace, french tv and english satellite tv with digi-box programs. Designed for comfort. The large kitchen is fully equipped, cooker, fridge/freezer,microwave,washing machine etc. There is a woodburner in the kitchen for winter use. L'Ecurie cottage is south facing and is open plan with fully equipped kitchen with french doors out onto the patio, large comfortable lounge with woodburner, english satellite tv with digi-box programs, there are 3 large bedrooms sleeping 6 +, the downstairs bedroom has a king sized bed. Rest Huella is in an enviable position in the beautiful Aulne valley, a wooded river valley with lovely views, tranquil but far from remote. We have large gardens, a small orchard, sun terraces for eating out on and b.b.q's as well as garden furniture to relax on, there are several terraces and patios among the 2 properties, so plenty of choice, as well as the extensive lawned gardens for children to play in. We are 5 mins walk from the riding stables, a further 15 mins to the lock gates and free fishing our side of the weir, a permit is needed up river. We also have a little cottage overlooking the Brest to Nantes canal in picturesque Port Launay, this village was featured in a French magazine as being one of the prettiest port village in France! The cottage sleeps 6 + and is on 3 floors, there is an open plan fully equipped kitchen and lounge with french tv and english satellite tv with digi-box programs. There is no garden as such with this cottage, but what fantastic views of the boats sailing past the windows. There are bench seats and table sets outside on the river bank and loads of parking space outside the cottage.
